Botox® / Dysport® is a highly purified protein when injected into a specific area it allows the muscles relax hence preventing any muscular contraction which then prevent creases of the skin that will cause lines and wrinkles. It may take up to 5-7 days for the maximum effect to be apparent where the area becomes smooth and relaxed, wrinkle and line free. Over time, as we naturally age, overactive muscles movement gradually wears away the collagen in our skin, causing the skin to crease and winkles to appear.
